Power Distribution & Panel Infrastructure
Distribution modifications including new bolt-on breakers, feeder installations between service and distribution panels, and transformer secondary feeders — with expansion couplings where underground runs were required.
Generator Integration
New 100 kW generator connected to the existing automatic transfer switch — including feeder, grounding, controls, block heater and battery charger circuits, and temporary changeover support during cutover.
Lighting & Controls
Full lighting system installation across the sales floor and specialty areas — track and wall-wash systems, case-top L12 fixtures, LED downlights, high bays, and canopy fixtures — with lighting controls including wall switches, dimmers, occupancy sensors, and low-voltage room controllers.
Refrigeration & HVAC Equipment Connections
Branch power for four refrigeration racks, gas cooler connections, non-fusible disconnects at all mechanical equipment, hood control panel connection with shunt-trip interlock, and specified SO-cord drops throughout the facility.
Testing, Compliance & Closeout
Short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash study with panel labeling — alongside full as-built documentation, O&M manuals, operator training, and punch list completion to Hannaford's national closeout standards.
Emergency & Life Safety Power
Emergency branch segregation and exit and egress power systems installed per plan — ensuring the facility met all life safety electrical requirements throughout the remodel.
